I do! I hand deliver as many as I can but do have friends/family in other towns - even some abroad. Their cards have to be posted. Ecards are clever - but so impersonal I think it rude to send them instead of a proper card.

Re: A seasonal question.

I deliver all the local ones too, Tabby, then just post the ones for further afield.

Stamps are so expensive now though.
I'm sure if they went back to printing the price on each stamp, it would be more of a deterrent.

Re: A seasonal question.

Those that are local family I deliver personally, others are rather further away, like 150 miles distant so are posted. Those to Australia, as much as I would like to deliver personally, especially when the weather is cold like this morning, are posted.

Stamps now cost almost as much as cards bought in multiple packs. It's amazing how First Class postage to Australia, about 10,000 miles away, costs £2.25 but UK inland, so impossible to be more than 603 miles (Land's End to John O'Groats), costs 70p (61p Second Class). Something is wrong somewhere!

I hadn't realised it but the cost of postage rose in March 2019, as it seems happens every year. Usually I buy double the number of stamps required, or more, they can be used next year too.

Royal Mail are forever chasing the losses caused by new technology, so these annual increases will never stop:

I post cards too. E-cards are a bit lazy I think, and impersonal. I only send out about 10 though, so not too expensive. I don't buy packs either, I like to select personal ones.

Re: A seasonal question.

I am down to about 18 or 20 now and 5 of those are overseas (UK, Sweden and USA)

My kids never send Christmas cards so I am lucky if I receive a dozen or so.

I buy charity packs and I get ones big enough so that I can include a 5" by 7" photo (though that is getting harder).
