The third party claim will never be effected....that;s why Third party is the minimum requirement.

Your part of the claim maybe effected if there are mitigating factors....not wearing shoes being a contributing factor would be very hard to prove if not impossible..

Let's not forget...police involvement isn't always asked for or needed.

An investigation is rare unless very serious injuries are sustained....usually all they do is take statements.

I always wear shoes with thin (ish) soles as I need to "feel" the acceerator and to match the hybrid's performance. Different technique as I have an electric motor and petrol engine neath the bonnet. Bare feet, particularly sweaty or wet feet no no no.
