I wouldn't like to live where you live Julie .
If you hadn't said many times it was Woking I would think it was Newham or some ghastly area of London not leafy affluent Surrey .
And quite frankly I don't belive it's like that
Seems so much third hand hearsay IMO .

Re: Train knife killing

Julie, how can you say you've seen 50 yr old men carrying knives?
You've seen them?
Several?
The knives are visible?
How would this be possible?

Edit: sorry don't mean this to sound like interrogation!
I live in a big city, never seen a knife on anyone, I'm genuinely interested...

The family will have to ask themselves this question too.
Why did they allow a 14 year old to be illegally on the road and where did he get the wherewithal to buy a moped at 14?
Had he not been on the road he may not have been murdered in this way.

Hi

Teenagers do all sorts of things parents do not know about.

My parents where very strict, but I still managed to ride my mate's older brothers moped when I was 14.

We used to ride it in Lepton Quarry, not far from where Judd lives.

Re: Train knife killing

Riding a very new looking scooter on the streets of London is hardly the same thing .

It's not illegal to ride motor bikes and drive cars underage on private land such as a field .

But it is a crime to ride underage with no licence or no insurance on a public road .

Re: Train knife killing

What everyone is not mentioning for fear of being called a racist .
Both these recent stabbings involved black males .
If and when they catch the killers the odds are that they will be black too.
So sad as it is for innocent people stop and search should concentrate on stopping black males .
The modus operandi for this murder is the same as that used by Lee Rigbys killers .
Incapacitate your victim by running him over then knife him .

Re: Train knife killing

Far be it from me to endorse anything that Diane Abott does or say but she was right to send her son away from London .
She is well aware of the danger of black gangs in London and the fact that a black boy once in these gangs is lost .

The fact is that the majority not all but the majority of the moped crime carried out in London is perpetrated by black youths.

This is probaby the reason why Diane Abott has highly critised the Metropolitan police for knocking moped thieves off their scooters .

Moped crime is apalling in London

Re: Train knife killing

As a temporary measure would a curfew work in those areas most affected.

Re: Train knife killing

The man on the train was killed at 1.30 pm
The moped boy murder took place at approx 6.30 in the evening quite early.
Moped robbery goes on at any time of the day .

In any case how would you implement a curfew ?

Re: Train knife killing

I was referring to moped crime, just a suggestion. Anything to try and stop this gang warfare and deaths. Public order is crucial.
