Yes I have a mobile phone (as does Mrs LongDriver), but they are non smart and have all the facilities we need from radio to music player as well as the ability to make/receive calls and send/receive SMS text messages. Another advantage as I see it is its charge holding capacity .. I charge on average once every 12 days to two weeks. My children and grandchildren have to charge their smartphones every night.

5000 posts is the general threshold, before loosing the will to live.

I completely agree. My friends all know how I feel about it and switch their mobiles off when in my home.

Yes. I'm with you there, Basser, especially the same films over and over.

And another thing - what's the betting this Chirstmas we will have to sit through every old James Bond film all over AGAIN, along with every Harry bloomin' Potter again too!

Aren't new films made any more?

Mups what used to be something to look forward to has now become a day of utter rubbish, we buy quite a few classic DVD's to watch over the Christmas period, we now have quite a good selection to see us through Xmas and new year
