Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Not thousands Jac, it's £5million+. Think someone should have told him to save the postage! Lovely sunny day here but the wind is bitter. Finished my jigsaw and made a load of Welsh cakes for the lambing crew this morning. They'll collect them when they come over later to check the ewes in the meadow.

Not so windy or cold this morning.
Had letter from the surgery this morning stating that I'm in the"at risk" group but not in the "shielding" group, the shielding group are people with particular conditions.
No real plans today-just doing things when I feel like it!
Have a good and safe day.

He has probably got shares in the Post Office - I hate to sound cynical!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Think I'm developing terminal sloth. I can see loads of jobs that want doing but I can't whip up any enthusiasm to do them! Well I have put the clock right on the central heating - and altered my living room clock this morning - oh and ironed four pillowcases! Must sit down and have a rest now.

It's been so much colder here these last few days. All last week I was wandering round in a Tshirt, now I have a Tshirt and a thick cardigan on and I'm still not too warm. Don't you just hate people who grumble about nothing?.........................

Apparently the goats that live on the Great Orme are invading Llandudno - taking advantage of the empty streets, and having a great time eating the plants in peoples gardens.

Hi Thanks for the welcome message. No I am not exactly shut in - free to go out shopping once a week - and to go out for exercise once a day. Lovely to live opposite a beach.
Yes I agree nice to have the internet to keep us connected.

Hi. - Thanks for the welcome message.
No sign of the letter ! Not that I am holding my breath.
I am OK and on a pension - but really feeling sorry for those people thrown into financial chaos due to this.
