Trying a portrait

Watched that portrait programme last night they were great so suitably inspired I thought I would try one . Mr M snoozing on the sofa was the only available model .
He woken up now.

Thank you .He’s a lovely man but this doesn’t do him justice the colours look weird it may be because I’m drawing in artificial light on a dark ground I will see tomorrow .
