I wish I lived nearer to her because she does loads of interesting courses on horticulture too.

Yes. Too far for me to manage unfortunately.

She also does some stunning Dahlias. I bought several off her this year - just to add to my pots!

Sunflowers are doing well . .




This rose has not come out true to colour, as it is really a very deep red, not as bright as it looks here.
It is called " Darcey Bussell". It smells divine.

I think I'd better give that one a miss I'm looking for perennials that grow no taller than 1ft ...... planting up the garden with annuals every year is getting a bit much for me now, I need something that isn't going to be so much work.

You would have to pick your member of staff carefully.
