Re: That dog again
We keep contact with the rescue centre where we got Max and we update them on progress maybe a couple of times a year.
"A little update on Max aka Gendry
You know we have moved up country and Max seems to have taken to the new place. Walks off the lead except where we have to cross main roads but he knows the wait, walk and cross commands.
We meet and greet other dog walkers, two of whom are also called Max. One, a puppy, also called Max, just gets all over our big Max, strangling him, biting his ears. Gentle Max tolerates it.
We also walk little Ozzie for a neighbour. A Bedlington Terrier. Not our dog, so he stays on the lead - they search for rodents and some are known to do a runner. We can't risk that.
I can't quite explain quite how comfortably he (Max) seems to have taken to us.....I know I have said I won't inundate with photographs so just one.
Guarding the back door. Best intruder alarm you could wish for. That low growl tells you..........if he suspects something suspicious.
He is an absolute gem."
