I confess that it annoys me that we are obliged to make sacrifices and impose additional expenses on ourselves while other countries can continue their activities without any criticism.

To be honest, I suppose it's our own fault for paying such attention to the eco-warriors.

To the OP:
I have looked on Google and cannot find any table which shows Australia as anywhere near the top four! I do realise, of course, that there are different ways of arriving at such figures, though.

Could you please provide a link to the table you have seen?

Herewith the link as requested JBR, www. thegaurdian. com
Which states that australia is the 3rd biggestnexporter of coal and
the 5th biggest miner of fossil related products world wide?
So guilty by association l suppose?
China is also the largest miner of coal, and so must consume both
Australia's production and their own?

Thanks, but I'm afraid I still can't see any 'Biggest world polluters table', even when I correct your link
www. thegaurdian. com
to
www.theguardian.com

Just joking, of course, but still no table.

My thread title was a bit misleading JBR, maybe you should follow
my link and search for the biggest terrestial fossil fuel producers
world wide. Not exactly the same thing l know, but closely
related, as l said, guilty by association?

Humans are the biggest threat to us all. At least China had a "one child" policy, although I think that has been revoked. Nature has a way of dealing with a species that is too successful. Google 'Rat utopia'.
