The Caring Socialist EU... not !

Well that didn't take long.

Britain leaves the EU so the caring, socialist non-elected government of the European Union face a difficult decision...

How will they plug the shortfall of UK funding after Brexit and who, more importantly, will foot the bill ? Well, it's no surprise that since electing Ursula Von Der Leyen (the most unpopular politician in Germany) by a huge 9 vote majority (just being "nobody" into first place), that it's not coming from any member state directly! They are off the hook ... phew !

No ... each member state can breathe a sigh of relief because the people who are really going to pay for the shortfall so that Germany can get its EU army is .... drum roll..... wait for it.... drum roll .... poor people !

Yes, the socialist, caring EU have decided that poor people should pay for the budget shortfall and go hungry, be without clothes or heating, so that germany can spend spend spend on it's new army.

Can the real Josef Stalin please stand up, please stand up...

Wow, talk about self-interest!

How about getting their own house in order first rather than picking on the most vulnerable EU citizens?
To start with, although it is but a drop in the ocean compared to what the EU provide in the Aid, they need to first go through their own extravagances first and foremost.

To begin with, they could do without the ridiculous ‘’EU travelling circus’’ that takes place for 4 days every single month from Brussels to Strasbourg. I believe they use two or three lorries just to carry all the paperwork, plus the exclusive charter use of two express trains for all staff, plus transport for all 751 of its MEPs. There is a saving of about 103 million per year.

If the EU plan to cut the European aid to the most deprived by 50 percent and apportion it onto the governents of each individual EU state to start providing 2 billion Euro annually, ( it is the desire by the EU that individual states will provide that plus double more), they are seriously deluding themselves. It is a known fact that most of the recipients of this aid are Eastern European citizens, whose governments haven’t a hope in hell of providing the same level of aid as the EU Deprivation Aid budget does.

The EU to its eternal shame, should be using every avenue to cut the disgraceful and obscene extravagances it awards itself and its MEP'S and staff, and start thinking of helping those member states citizens that are doing without.

By not doing so, they cannot help but be seen as living on a different planet and it’s a case of ‘’close the hatches’’ when it comes to themselves having to do without first.

Strange (NOT) how the European Court also declared that MEP's expenses must remain a 'secret' as it would be a data breach if disclosed. How convenient, even though these same expenses are paid for by every single tax paying EU citizen!

The unelected elite need to punish those that have been a burden on the proletariat. It makes no difference that it was the unelected rulers that put them there in the first place.

Like a typical mafia mob it's the rulers that get the rich pickings, state supplied limousines and fat unquestionable expense accounts. It will be soon that the commission can stand on the balcony waving at the proletariat in army uniforms furnished with fake medals.

A new salute will be on the cards too - and compulsory moustache and jack boots.

Of course, it will be the UK's fault for leaving in the first place and no doubt we will have opprobrium rained on our heads.

It is possible to liquidate the FEAD fund because the main beneficiary of that fund, the UK, isn't using it anymore.
Salient detail, the UK received contributions from that fund, but didn't utilize it due to failing to organize support for their poor. https://www.london.gov.uk/questions/2019/17743

Apparently the UK lied to the EU when they asked for support for the poor. The UK has no food banks etc that need extra help of course.

I don't really care as long as the UK is no longer contributing to the inflated coffers of the EU .

In effect you are saying you do not care about the poor in your country.
