Re: Is a No Deal Brexit a Worry?

Looks like No Deal and an election are off the table doesn't it? Is there any way the parliament could become more rediculous? It seems to continually shoot itself in the foot.

It is fairly amusing to watch from afar but it must be hell for Britain be you a leaver or remainer.

What's next? Another extension?

Do you think it might be better to withdraw the application to leave completely until there is a consensus as to how you want to leave rather than allow this farce to continue?

Do you think silly arguments about flammable flags and other side issues is symptomatic of why Brexit has descended into farce?

We are in this position because some people cannot accept they lost a vote and they stamp their feet go puce and skweem and skween until someone listens to them. An example of it would be a seemingly sensible woman who day before this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Y8dCCDi31E was talking on radio two very calmly about her new childrens book that was it sounded perfectly lovely and fun. Then brexit was mentioned and you can see her reaction. That's what leavers are faced with and how we deal with these totally OTT people who have totally lost the plot I am not sure. Some need sectioning IMO they will never recover from it if we actually leave.

I could'nt agree with you more Brucy, the situation in Poshoc
gets stupider and stupider!
And it is so demoralising to watch the so called educated
elites perform in this manner!
It is clear now why uk has been declining for the last 30 odd
years!
To think only two weeks ago l was feeling that the country
was finding some momentum and direction! Then parliament
reconvened, and lunacy reigns again!
However, eventualy an election will happen, and if they standfast
the voters can get shot of them all, l hope?

You may have something there Julie?
It seems something is lacking in a large proportion of our
population in regard to common sense and logic?
I believe they started by preaching doom and gloom and
catastrophe to leavers, but ended up by succumbing to what
they were preaching to such an extent that they have become
hysterical!!
Bring on the election! We must ALL go and vote and end this
mindless shyte!

Like the man said, boris prorogueing parliament is one of the normal procedures, so all above board. Well, so is what you see happening now. Just another of the many procedures utilized in parliament.
