Re: Almonds

in the carribean trip (2017) the coach driver stopped to show up a cashew nut tree with the nuts growing on it,

Taken through the coach window best shot I could get of the tree with the nuts growing on it

Re: Almonds

That looks tasty!
We should be passing Holland and Barrett tomorrow.
I'm tempted to give them a good tossing in the wok.

Re: Almonds

I love almonds.

I eat them for the nutritional value with my breakfast.

I have natural yoghurt, small handful of almonds (about 5) a fistful of granola or muesli then I drizzle manuka honey, sometimes I have raspberries or strawberries too.

Eaten in moderation they are so good for us nutritionally.

Re: Almonds

I adore almonds. As a child sugared almonds were my favourite sweet. You don't see them about so much now. Sort of thing your great aunt would offer you. For some reason not so appealing if you can just go and buy them.

We'll be going for it this evening d00d. With a 300g bag of Sainsbury's almonds for just over three quid what could possibly go wrong?
I feel a good dusting of smoked paprika and a generous pinch of Malden Salt coming on too, that'll be for next time though.

Do enough in one go to cover the bottom of your frying pan. They can get extremely hot, make sure they've cooled down nicely on a plate before eating. Try them with nothing added!

Enjoy.
