The UK has its own points based system that comes into force on the 1st January 2021. You do not, you have to do what your told by the unelected commission.
That's nice! Does that pointy system also solve the problem of asylum seekers that have exhausted all legal means? Where do you send those? Or will these still slip into british illegality and end up in criminal gangs. In other words, todays situation isn't altered by the new system. All window dressing.

You don't understand the points system for immigration vs asylum seekers.

It's no surprise that after all this time, you still haven't learned anything.

You are quite right, I haven't read up on the new system. In my defence, there is little need to, as you know the brain drain is from the UK in the direction of the EU. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...-a9652491.html

Probably people moving back to Spain because of uncertainty about residency and there is probably that amount a year going back to the EU anyway each year. I wonder how many were coming here ? It didn't mention that did it ?

In the meantime, last year alone over 1000 businesses moved to the UK.

Brain drain eh ?

It concerns british citizens taking citizenship of an EU country (mainly german).

Why do you think there is an added requirement to not only have a firm on paper, but also hire personel and buy/hire premisses?

But people do that all the time. Why is it so "sensational" now ? is it because its in the Independent ?

I don't know what your point is ? About 280,000 people migrated to the UK in 2019 in total, about 50,000 from the EU.

50,000 people leave the UK and go to the EU - so what ?

What's your point - over 1000 business moved to the UK last year alone - that should be the brain drain that your talking about not 50,000 people moving from the UK to the EU.

It seems the number has increased. Don't worry, we'll send some extra rubber boats filled with replacements.

It is not businesses moving to the UK. It is EU businesses preparing for frictionless trade by opening a subsidiary in the UK. Something along the lines jacob rees mog has done.
