Hi Alice,
Yes, I think it was catarrh, which is still there, but getting better.
I'm a very naughty girl, I won't go near any doctors unless it's absolutey necessary, so I don't have check-ups etc and probably walking a tightrope.
Still, so far so good.
Of course, if something became serious, I would have to go.
Fly, I think you're doing great so far. Hope I reach your good age and your good health x
If it has worked I would imagine you will know tomorrow and can then either see your own doctor or not depending on how you feel, I would be hesitant to accept diagnosis on a forum by anyone, even a nurse or doctor. I am surprised diagnosis is being offered

I don't see any condition having been diagnosed on this thread?
Well, I feel a lot better, so I won't be visiting any doctor. I wonder what he/she'd say if I told them: "I've had a bad cold and I was wheezing, but it's stopped now and I feel fine." I think they'd ask me what I was doing there.
Interestingly....you were the first poster on here to mention chest infections.
Yes I said it to reassure the poster not to panic yet, I wasn't saying it was a chest infection or it wasn't. NHS has limitations and the OP would have been laughed out the surgery if she had gone to a doctor before trying/waiting to see if it got worse.
