I don't really believe it. .... but I do it anyway, just in case, I guess you might say. I never walk under ladders, spill salt without throwing a pinch over my shoulder, knock wood, never light three on a match nor open an umbrella indoors. But the mirror breaking doesn't bother me at all. Always pick up a penny, and am a bit nervous if I see only one crow!! "One for sorrow, two for joy", etc.Re: Are you superstitious?

LOL, maryl, it is magpies, I believe in the UK; when the settlers came here to the States crows were much more common so the old saying got transmuted into crows! I'd heard it all my life and was surprised on my first UK forum to hear it was magpies originally. I've never seen a magpie.Re: Are you superstitious?
