Mea Culpa!

I flounced off this forum a few weeks ago, vowing never to return, I can't even remember why now, (dementia setting in!) Anyway I have toddled back again as this is one of the better forums of its genre. If I upset anyone I apologise.

Well, that'll do for me, thank heavens the English language has such expressions, were you to be speaking in Czech you'd have a big problem, so far as I can ascertain there are no words for 'Sorry' or any verb like 'I apologise' and no way can I find anything which even comes to close to 'I made a mistake' I often think it's hardly surprising that the country has been invaded so many times in recent history

Azz ha ha that made me laugh - How long have you got Basically my wife was born here and wanted a holiday / retirement place outside of UK. When you've been married as long as I have it doesn't pay to say no to ones wife
