As far as I can tell from her "coached" rantings she acknowledges none of the efforts that have gone into energy efficient systems. In my field alone, power electronics, we spent 50+ years designing more energy efficient systems. Projects were won on improving efficiency.

One of the great things about Greta Thunberg is that she sticks to the point and is not distracted by these stupid non arguments.
She sticks to her arguments:
- the planet is warming, we are responsible and we need to fix it
- hope is fine, but it is pointless without action
- economic concerns are irrelevant in the face of collapsing ecosystems
- if we do not fix this, future generations will remember us for our failures.

People have a choice, they can either believe the scientists or big business and the politicians they buy, some choose the later. Climate change denial is a "faith based" phenomenon.
