Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Sunny here at the moment.
Hairdresser came to give me a trim, after that I went to have my yearly eye test.Need new specs so that's another hole in this month's budget.
Was quite pleased with the house valuation yesterday.Next step-start looking on line for houses in my price range.
Have a good day.

Thunderstorm just starting here. The thunder has been rumbling round for about half an hour.. Good thing I went out and shut the car windows. Supposed to be going to sit in a friend's garden this evening, but will need umbrella and wellies methinks.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Quiet today, no grandson! Have to have a Zoom meeting online with hospital drs tomorrow so have installed Zoom on the tablet (yesterday with Rob's buddy Clive, but we couldn't make it work between his phone and my tablet). Phoned another buddy this morning and he "invited" me to a meeting and it all went swimmingly. Thank goodness for that.

Watching the snooker in the cool now - wish I was in the sea.......

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I am so cross I am spitting feathers! Boys arrived, sat here for quarter of an hour. Rang the ward - guess what - the Dr I spoke to on Tues isn't in today and the Ward Clerk has not passed the message on about 4pm on Thursday. So I said how cross I was (boys taking time off work especially) etc. and havn't seen my son for 3 weeks - get your act into gear and ring me tomorrow. Grrrrr! Rant over.

Cooler today and a heavy shower about 3pm. The lightning here last night was quite spectacular, but luckily only a very short power cut.

Waiting since 1 pm for a phone call from Rob's Dr. I'm not holding my breath.

Rivetted by the snooker!

It is now nearly 8 pm, guess what, no phone call. Grrr!
