A lot of my CDs are now jumping, or play at a fast speed, and this is because I am guilty of keeping them out of their sleeve/box so they get scratched.

I have a years old Phillips system, which has a turntable, 3 CD changer and twin cassette decks - one can record from the other. I'm not sure if it records the radio or vinyl...been years since I've tried that. Best find the manual, hadn't I?

The CD changer mechanism plays up terribly (one day I know it will fail altogether), but it's a great system and sounds fabulous. It's very hard finding replacement systems that have all the different players - turntable, CD and cassette.
