I don't read most of the stuff posted on here so if I happened upon one of these birthday threads and offered my good wishes, I might then miss everyone else's. No that's not really the reason ... I just thing it naff.

Those who put their birth date up might like being wished Happy Birthday by other forum members. Whatever gives people a bit of pleasure on the day is OK I reckon. I'm usually happy to oblige with a small graphic/image made for them on the day.

When you get to my age you even forget your own birthday. I do and have done more than once.
