Looks nice Goldilocks thank you I think I would leave out the tomato paste though, I don't think it needs it and it might 'muddy' the taste of the mushrooms .

I agree. Stroganoff should be creamy smokey dish (from the paprika). No real place in there for tomatoes in any form. Imagine putting tomato in say a pasta carbonara, it just would destroy the dish imo.

Also I agree with Pummy, get some pork or beef in there or for decadence some venison.

I agree. I always change a recipe to suit. Enjoy
