Hi Azure, honestly, I love making my own soups, especially as it is the perfect solution for using up the last of fresh vegetables.
Unfortunately I wish someone would tell my husband as he loves his Heinz Big Soups and into the trolley they go every time, he completely ignores my protests with a smile, a wink and the comment, "you make terrific soup which you enjoy love so you have double portions of your soup and I'll make do with my Big Soup".

Ho Hum !! Luckily I still enjoy a bowl of home-made soup (potato and leek my favourite) with a fresh crusty roll for lunch.
