I'm old fashioned, none of this PC for me. Whilst waiting in a queue for buses, notwithstanding I too am disabled, I still stand aside and let ladies and young children precede me. The 'Birkenhead Drill' I know very well!!!

btw they told a funny story about a married couple whose car flipped over and the only injuries the wife got was from where her husband stepped all over her getting out first !

I would have to say I am old school in which case women and children first.I also feel for the millions of women out there who have been ripped of by the Equal Rights brigade.
Its the first time I have seen a British Government acting so fast, apart from Tony Blair sending troops to war that is.
Stopping women's pensions from their original retirement date 60 and putting it to 65 and now talking about up to 68 Saving our Government millions of pounds and costing each woman an estimated £30,000.
Just like to add well done the Equal Rights Brigade for doing your fellow sisters out of that much needed money.
