'Our Yorkshire Farm'

Is anyone watching this lovely little programme (channel 5)
It was the first episode last week..
https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news...d-tv-1-9466246

All the children (9 of them ) except the babies help on the farm (I can hear the health and safety brigade exclaiming in horror) .
Two of the little boys made a mothers day gift all on their own out of scraps of wood and pipes, a gadget to remove her boots.

I journey back in time to simpler kind of family life .

Re: 'Our Yorkshire Farm'

I wasn't so impressed I thought it was awful they way the kids were being used I'm absolutely sure kids should help but I hate seeing ten year olds having to take responsibility for two year olds. If you have a child don't expect the others to raise it. Especially these days of easy contraception.

And yes I am sorry I am keen on health and safety our forefathers fought for safer working practices and some of the things the kids were doing would not be allowed to be done by paid workers and that can't be right.

Re: 'Our Yorkshire Farm'

I've seen Amanda, Clive and their brood on a few of the country programmes, and read two of her books. I don't know how they do it, but they seem happy. Not caught up with this show yet, as a few tv progs pass me by...

But I will catch up with it at some point.
