Boris Johnson accepts Matt Hancock's apology for breaking social distancing rules and 'considers matter closed'

https://news.sky.com/story/matt-hanc...ngelo-12341561

Downing Street says Boris Johnson accepts Matt Hancock's apology for breaking social distancing rules and "considers the matter closed".

Facing questions from reporters at a regular Westminster briefing, the prime minister's spokesman did not say whether Mr Johnson had asked the health secretary to resign, nor if Hancock had offered the PM his resignation.

The spokesman also refused to address suggestions that Mr Hancock had broken the law, repeatedly pointing reporters to the health secretary's statement.
As anticipated, BJ does nothing - he'll just bluff and bluster his way through another blunder .....

I feel sorry for the 6 kids involved in this mess and the families destroyed through their behaviour.

Its always the kids that suffer the most when this happens.

CLOSED?? My gosh is there no end to this guys buffoonery? Hancock committed a major breach of trust, broke the rules, didn't give a hootinanny about the virus because he was too busy getting jiggy with another mans wife!!!
A mumbled half assed apology does not close the matter.

Hancock can't stay, his position is untenable as Health secretary making/breaking the C19 rules.

I am amazed he learned nothing after the Fergusson and Cummings breaches.

Seems a bit of a pity that they've given up any pretence of holding a high moral stance and leading by example.

So do I and more. That lot are running our country and I was stupid enough to vote for them.

God save the queen with that shower in charge.
