I would also ban public fireworks,and there are organisations who have tried to get this done to no avail.Many years ago I started a petition for this, I got 100's of signatures,which I sent to the Government,only to get a reply that ' There are No plans to stop the private use of fireworks, as these are a cause of family pleasure ',It seems those who have to put up with the noise etc do not count. Fire works are big money for the Government in the way of VAT. For the past few nights here there have been fireworks going off. I also had a Dog and Cat absolutely terrified every night, trembling,hearts racing,trying to dig through the floor boards to find peace
