Ah its a shame that she's deteriorated and she'll be disappointed she couldn't go, but at least she'll see them after the event when they visit which will cheer her up.

It is a shame Marian-she's hoping they bring her a 'doggy bag' from the meal they're having after-she's still got her sense of humour
