A very productive day!

Today I have :-

Done the ironing.
Taken the Shark for walk.
Rearranged the dust in the Sitting Room.
Frightened the life out of some weeds.
Decimated the Dog Wood forest.
Mended the leak in the rain water butt.
Cut back the privet hedge.
Transferred some more herbs from small pots to big troughs.
Raided my neighbour's rhubarb patch - stewed the results, packed in portions with vanilla and almond custard, and put into the freezer.
Had a Chinese take-away lunch with the same neighbour.
Cleaned the guttering.
And mended the down pipe - again!

I am wrecked - going to have a hot bath and an early night Martin Shaw can read me 'The Hobbit'.

I was going to exclaim ‘crikey, you make me feel positively lazy!’

Well done Tabs.

How’s your toe post ‘Thing’? A distant memory???

Well today I’ve made lots of phone calls, some fruitless, cos they want me to only contact them when I’ve actually moved. I’ve arranged with BT to give me a landline at the rental, without having to do a new contract, done some more packing, then Sky rang me back when on phone to older sis, and I can continue the service there too! Made easier by the fact a dish and leads are already in situ. He did talk about getting a new dish and leads but I thought no, I will need a new installation at the permanent property. I’m not paying twice.

Re: A very productive day!

Well I'm buggered just reading all that Tabs! lol

Mine hasn't been nearly as productive but productive enough I guess.

Here is my day

Dragged myself out of bed

Work

Went to pick up and delivered a new coffee table for my dad, nearly broke my back trying to get it out of the car!

Spent a good while chatting with Dad

Went to get some new coasters for Dad new coffee table and some bits from Tesco for him

Went to B & Q for some brackets and a drill so I can have a go at fixing my fireplace back to the living room wall, it's about to fall over! Hubby can't do it with only having one arm so I'm gonna tackle it myself tomorrow.

Had a bath

Came on the computer

That's about it.

I feel productive just getting through your list. Well done. You've inspired me. Now all I have to do is get up.

Well done Tabs.
I love having days like that, though they are few and far between lately.

When so many things need doing, it gives me a real 'glow' and feel of contentment when I've managed to get through a lot of it.

Bet you'll sleep happy tonight.

Tabby, you sound like just the person that lot from Essex are looking for. You know, in the "Need a few squid for Christmas thread"

Naturist Cleaners are always looking for new part-time people to work for us as naturist cleaners. A principal role is to do general cleaning in nudist private houses wearing no clothes. We are looking for flexible, responsible cleaners no matter your age or figure.
