I can't think of a good reason to extend.

Also, he is not obliged by the letter to enter into negotiations with the EU pertaining to the details of the extension.

Therefore I don't see how an extension can be agreed !

That would imply there is logic behind the decision to send that lettre, mossy. Nobody expects sense or logic from the UK anymore.

None has a veto. They all have to agree. For those sensitive to the nuance....
But what do you think will happen when in the meeting of the 27 one members (st)utters its resistance? The other 26 will convince that member of it's aberancy. And when finally a commission decision is published it will be unanimously.
