My cupboards are over flowing.
We don't drink these days but my family and friends still buy bottles of various whiskys and barcardi and other spirits. I guess we must look like we need them. Over the years we have also become magnets for bottles of champayne,(forgive the pun) don't ask me why I cannot even drink the stuff, but cider I used to love even now at bbq's I will have the odd Magners.

When my kids were younger I would ask if they were going to partys and load them up with bottles and I even have a nephew that used to stay over for a month or two and he would get rid of quite a few bottles. Anything went with him.
But these days my kids are grown and don't do all night parties and my nephew lives in Japan. But the good news is he is visiting in April for a week or two and hopefully he will come see me and I will see the bottles get emptied. I only ever have dark rum in my tea these days on a cold winters night.
My glass collection box is filled to the brim these days with empty super malt bottles..

I have one bottle of wine which I bought I can't remember how many years ago for friends' social. Social was then cancelled as too many were ill. They don't have that sort of social any more, just tea/coffee. I might take it to my brother's house next time I go there ... when I'm better enough.

Never mind "how many do I actually use" because it is 100%, it's getting my 10 cents back on the empties I worry about.



The tinny is an interloper I picked it up in the street, it is still worth 10c (I like to drink my beer out of glass)
