Maybe quote some examples of such "land grab" or "theft"?

A word of caution.

When it comes to exchange of resources following an attack there is huge precedence to be taken account of.

Re: Gaza/ Israel

It's a fact.
Israel have engaged in and continue to engage in illegal land grab and theft. I'm not citing lists of the 'spoils of war' from their various military engagements with their neighbours since Israel was founded ... needless to say it's territory has grown substantially. Occupation, resettling and annexation been the Israeli preferred method of colonisation.

Israel are now a law unto themselves ... and impervious or arrogantly ignorant of international criticism and any element of compromise. They are no longer the underdog. Can't blame them for that attitude after WW2 but it could be said they've become just another power hungry butcher in the ME.

They're now identical to their neighbours.
It's the 'last man standing mentality'.
Yes, they have the right to defend themselves but no one can deny they have become a major provocateur in the region so it's pointless to dress them up as the victim anymore. Their staunchest supporters simply absolve them totally of any wrongdoing.

Oh dear. Be it Judenhaas, black propaganda, bigotry, or whatever, the poison has been well placed.

Not at all, no oh dear or oh woe about it ... I call it a very fair and unbiased summing up of Israeli politics in regard to ensuring their continued existence.

.
Easy to understand that Israel is not out to make friends in this world any longer , but this sort of reactionary behaviour is beneficial to the up and coming elections. How do we know that the missile that struck Israel was sent by Hamas ? We don't. The same but in reverse as all the accusations that have been made against the Syrian Government for chemical weapons. US used phosphorous in Syria, and Israel have used phosphorous on Gaza . Too many blames and too many games for us to believe anything any longer. I just see death and destruction , without anyone giving a thought of how psychologically damaged children will continue the fight for eternity, and one day the massacre will happen , it cannot be postponed for eternity. ......

and with the backing of the US :

The United States and Israel signed an agreement in September 2016 to give Israel $38 billion in military assistance over the next decade, the largest such aid package in U.S. history but one that included concessions by Israel’s government.

Re: Gaza/ Israel

Maybe people who are so dismissive - and worse - about us Red Sea Pedestrians and our partially restored homeland should embargo what we sell, and sometimes even give to them especially since '48?

That would be something they could easily do!

Oh wait ------

Re: Gaza/ Israel

'partially restored ' ???

Is this what you refer to , more land grabbing of the future ?

Solomon had 4,000 stalls for horses and chariots, and 12,000 horses, which he stationed in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem. 26He reigned over all the kings from the Euphrates to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt.…
