Re: Equinox Tuesday

I enjoy that bit also, Meg; I like hearing about your weather, what's blooming in the gardens, the birds, butterflies and other things like that. The Internet has really made it a very small world. Nice to virtually meet others and exchange views and just general chit-chat!

And glad you don't think I natter on too much about the weather: I lead a very quiet life so often that's all I have to talk about in the Daily!

I agree with Mag and DM . I really look forward to the transAtlantic reports - I'd like other contributors from e.g. Oz or SA as well . Maybe when we go live .......?

Re: Equinox Tuesday

Good evening all-hope everyone is well. For the first time in about 2 weeks we had rain this morning and very windy. Cleared up after dinner and the sun came out. Apparently high pressure is building again and going to be settled from tomorrow onwards. Been visiting my sister this afternoon and then it was off to work. Couldn't believe how dark it was when I finished at about 7.15 pm Felt strange driving home with headlights on. I really dislike the dark nights-can be so depressing

I dislike the dark nights too. What time is sunset in your latitude now? It's 6:52 here on the East Coast.

Re: Equinox Tuesday

Yup - and being the equinox I guess it's not light in the morning till 7.08am either. I know we are delaying our early morning tea/coffeee in bed, as the cats aren't allowed out in the dark and they expect to be released as soon as someone is up
