House on fire = kettle boiling....(remember the kettles that sat on the gas.
Wood in the hole (think not just our family) shut the door.
Old Shakey (new one here) what my niece Sophie calls my Dad...he has parkingsons and his writing is shakey she is the onluy one who takes the pee out of him for it and he loves it.

Reading throught the thread isn't it odd that so many children have special names for elephants in particular, Ongars Epitals Wewont
