It is too hot and sticky to sleep.

Going to cool down later though - thank goodness.

I need to do something in the garden - I think it is called 'weeding' - maybe I need to read a book about it first!

Good morning all.

Yes Tabby, it's awful. I'm still at work and the heat is unbearable. Coupled with that, we're so busy and I have a pulled muscle in my lower back and now a strange dull stabbing pain in my groin too. I'm falling apart.

Morning everyone, a slightly cooler day forecast here and possible thunderstorms later, which hopefully will clear the air a bit...

No plans for the day other that nipping out to Tesco later.

A very early good morning everybody. (Though I see I'm not the first)

Later today I need to go to the e-e shop to find out what's happened to the fibre optic broadband I ordered a month ago.
I had an email to say they were sending me the router a week ago but it never arrived. I considered phoning but think it's best to see the young lady who sold it me in the first place.

I was going to start a new pilates class this morning but will have to leave it now.

After sorting the broadband out I need to do something about my Dyson vacuum cleaner - it seems to be broke & I've only had it 6 months.
Sods law I can't find the receipt - I shall have to turn the house upside down looking for it. I do wonder if Tony's done something to it - he broke the one we had before. No use asking him though because he won't remember.(Alzheimers)

The chap who's painting my wrought iron railings will be coming today (I hope) so I suppose I'd better be here to keep an eye on him & to pay him. I'm praying he'll finish today!

Going out with our friends Jean & Brian tonight for a meal & to discuss going to Warner's with them in a few weeks.

Not a lot planned for today. A long stroll with the hairy beast before it heats up any more. Them off to the market and the mall. Maybe.

Good morning everyone

I had a terrible night...my little grandson just would not settle I think it must have been too hot for him. He is sleeping now and of course I can't sleep...it's morning

Not sure whatever we will do today...will see how he is later and make a decision then

Good morning all another hot and restless night but rain showers forecast for later this morning.

I’m getting behind on the house chores what with the heat and feeling tired out after hospital visits. Washing machine is on at the moment.

Good morning all, another really hot sweaty day ahead of us.

Got a garden full of Men today doing jobs for me, so the coffee will be on all day for them.

Flyody, there are lots of nice Women on here who can massage your pains away.
