Such a shame, I hate that illness it destroyed my mother, she didn't know any of us in the end.
Also that lovely actress who played Sibil Fawlty, (Prunella Scales) is heading down that road too.

A now deceased great friend was an extra in the carry on films and met her many times. She certainly bought her own style to the film industry

I enjoyed the 'Carry On' Films - until BW joined the cast - they went down hill after that. Wouldn't wish dementia on anybody though - it is such a cruel affliction for all concerned.
