Re: Warning about Dishwasher

It’s in the Sun paper as well

B&Q customers who've bought a Cooke & Lewis dishwasher from the DIY chain are being warned to stop using it over fears it could overheat.

Shoppers should also unplug it from the power socket as it may result in a fire otherwise.

Re: Warning about Dishwasher

I have never heard of Cooke and Lewis so l googled them. They are described as a ‘budget’ brand. So l suppose, that says it all?

I have only ever owned Electrolux or Bosch dishwashers. I would hate not to have a dishwasher.

We have a bosch I was very lucky to win it a couple of years ago. If it ever went wrong not sure what I'd do it saves so much time and everyone fills it so kitchen stays tidy. Brilliant.

Same here Mups.....Good morning by the way....

Never had a dishwasher in my life, or a microwave. To put a dishwasher in our kitchen you would have to take something out first....like the sink...

Hmm, I can see one of those could be handy.

Good morning to you too, Foxy.

I can imagine a dishwasher might be handy if you have a big family, but it would be a waste of space and money for me.

Re: Warning about Dishwasher

Can't imagine life without a microwave either. We can't all finish work at the same time so I cook a meal and we all reheat as and when we sit down. I heard the ping at 2am Nate must have had a late one I know he was rostered until 10pm so someone must thing must have happened.
Dishwasher has made life much easier I was finding standing washing up a bit more difficult and breaking more than I washed up some days, now it's everyone's responsibility to fill it and when it's full last one filling it puts it on. My husband or Nate empty it and I just clean the work tops etc.

Re: Warning about Dishwasher

I have a manual dishwasher, wasn’t too good when first started as quite a bit of crockery was smashed.

Things have improved greatly in the passing years and the dishwasher is ace now ...... I call it Mr Mags He (it) is showing his age a bit now though.

I can’t stand bent over a sink for long as I suffer with a lot of back pain if I’m stood in one place for any length of time.
