...I have never tried cooking one myself.
...why the need to visit a different planet,Autumn means..to me...going to sleep...not me by the way,no chance.

Autumn.Pros:-
The lovely colours.
Lingering smell of wood smoke on the air.
Delicious soups and stews to tickle the taste buds.
Frost bejeweling spiders webs.
Crisp, clean, green air in the mornings.
Cosy nights by the fire with a good DVD and a bottle of wine.
The richness of the harvest - apples, pears, plums etc.,
The loamy scent of freshly turned earth.
Cons:-
Higher fuel bills.

Autumn to me conjures up thoughts of early dark nights, bonfires and fireworks and witches with black cats riding round on broomsticks.
It also reminds me that the annual Mop Fair is coming to town.
