I bought a bourgeois house in the Hollywood hillsRe: Petition by Age UK protesting withdrawal of free TV licences for over 75s
Just a thought here.. should the outcry work and the tv licence stays free for over 75, will that give the Gov a valid excuse to try and get rid of our bus passes as getting two things for free may go against public generosityRe: Petition by Age UK protesting withdrawal of free TV licences for over 75s

I don't think the bus pass has the same value in that many OAPs use it rarely, if at all. The ones that do use it a lot (myself inc.) would not bother with most of the bus rides if we had to pay. We use it outside of rush hour because that's a more pleasant time to travel so we're not causing a hindrance.Re: Petition by Age UK protesting withdrawal of free TV licences for over 75s
