Is this the weather page... never mind , Its how you would say.. The weather is being a bit of a cow today, for me anyway.Joe went off visiting and i stayed at home with madam, then the heavens opened and the garden and everything was under loads of water and whatever is in the main drain oh yes that too.Rained stopped and park Gardener opened a drain in the green and a lot went down, now it has all gone leaving behind efluent so Joe has come home just in time to hosepipe the paths. Aint life grand.

Oh nooo that sounds awful Annie. At least Joe hosepiped the paths for you. I think you had it worse than us as I've just been talking to somebody who lives near you and she went out to lunch with a friend and it took her friend 2 hours to get home instead of 20 mins!! All the little roads were flooded and even the main A69 was closed for a while. Its sunny here now!

We have had no rain today but it has been very very hot, my outdoor thermometer measured 28 degrees in the shade.
I think its mean't too cool down tonight though.

It's been extremely hot again here, orange alerts in most places. Temperature climbing over 40C at times and not cooling down much at night either. Even the breeze was like a hot fan oven today and we haven't got to July yet !

Well the rain went away and this morning the paths were dry so its back to normal,yes the A69 was closed and you had to go to Greenhead via the Military Road all very confusing, there were lots of floods about here. But hey ho its all gone now.

We are going over 40C again, I know it gets very hot here during the summer but this year seems to be hotter than ever, many places on orange or red alert. It really is HOT !

So that's where our summer has gone!

Glimmers of sun today, strong winds and currently 19ºC
