Re: EU Referendum Result - Your Views

I can accept the result even if I don't like it, but what annoys me 28% don't care.
Time to take on Australian way of voting and make it compulsory.
Immigration will hardly change, it will alway be high.
Just tighten your belts, and if you have money book yourself an appointment with a financial adviser at your bank.

Is it correct and did I hear it right that 22,000 balot papers were null and void due to being wrongly filled in or defaced ?

I won't hold my breath too much on that one Nom.
Most of them are snakes in the grass.
However, this result has turned out far better than I even dreamed of.

OUR country has voted for Brexit.
Cameron almost gone.
Osborne likely to go.
Corbyn likely to go.
Possible General Election on the cards.
I could go on, but in essence.
Happy and exciting days.
Bring them on!

That sounds about right Susan, but it wouldn't have made any difference to the result if they had been counted for remain.

Will Britain's exit be carried out with the same enthusiasm as its membership of the EU (ie lukewarm, limpwristed leadership)?
Brucey baby, dont worry we came through and we will come through again,. There are a lot of responsible people who voted out and a leader will come from them. The scare mongering by the remain lot didn't work.

Maybe they care enough not to caste a vote they're not 100% convinced is the right one?

Or

Maybe you are right.

Re: EU Referendum Result - Your Views

Well at least now we know who has the most power and influence in this place we call home... The owners of dumbed down tabloid newspapers!

The intelligence of over half of the British public who could be bothered to vote is apparently lower than I could ever have imagined.

All I'm waiting for now are the announcements that Nissan, Vauxhall, Ford, Mini etc are moving production to somewhere else in Europe to avoid probable import duties /tarrifs.

Oh and has anyone given any thought about our soon to be invalid EU passports and EU driving licences?

Time to move to Scotland before they decide to quit the UK!

I question the intelligence of believing anyone who happens to note agree with you as unintelligent, might be especially as they are not all the readers you believe they actually understood the question and made the best decision for the country.
