It's excellent as usual!
One thing I noticed with ours was the pricked up ears or sometimes laid behind.

Just checked again, Muddy, and I still think I'm right.

I know how hard it is for the artist to examine his/her own work. If I were you, then I'd leave it for a couple of days and come back to it. And I assume that you know about the mirror trick.

But of course, an artist with your obvious, exceptional talent probably knows all this anyway.

Exactly, Meg. I was thinking about how to say it is more like a 'portrait', but you did it much more succinctly!

I'm sure that dogs do this sort of thing to us deliberately!
