Lovely photos, Sheba! I love the Iris one...its such a pity that it didn't survive the makeover. Are they fragile plants?

Well I had never thought they were - we never lifted the bulbs each year as some do, because it's quite a mild climate here, so they were always undisturbed. Until they were taken out when the bed was raised. It was a longish job, took 2 or 3 weeks in all, and I guess we just didn't store them correctly.

This week I thought Neon would be a good theme to work with. Yeah...good idea, bad execution! Its summer time and night time doesn't happen until I'm asleep, haha! Never mind, I managed to get a couple of Neon signs, despite the reflections - oh the reflections! Gah! I also tried the actual colour popping with layers, and it worked!, but again, the reflections ruined it - I had to pick the worse photo ever to work with. But I know how to do it now, so I'm happy. So if you have any neon pics to show, feel free to share.

It was a bed spread, Pixie, at my late Mother's house. Don't know what happened to it after.

Ok, its been far too warm to go out much this week, so I thought I would cheat a little bit and do this weeks colour pop inside! The colour is ORANGE, and what better way to showcase this than with a glass of orange juice!
