Bempton Cliffs

I've just returned from a long weekend in York, where we visited Bemton Cliffs to photograph the seabirds.

What an experience.

I'll start with everyone's favourite.......

Re: Bempton Cliffs

They really are the little clowns of the seabirds, Mags.

In fact, there aren't as many as Razor Bills and are so tiny they take some spotting. These were taken with my 600mm zoom lens.

The most photogenic were the Gannets, would you believe.

Super photos PooBear . Wow a 600mm zoom! I take it you only use this with a tripod? I certainly couldn't manage a lens that long hand held.

A wonderful group of photos for a bird lover like myself. Remarkable coloring in the shots. I rely on pros like you to show us these shots. I could never take these!
