Well done you too. It must be marvellous to find someone so compatible.My first marriage wasn't a total disaster and we parted on good terms after lasting just over 10 years. My second was a triumph of optimism over experience but lasted slightly longer. Hormones are terrible masters, if I knew then what I know now I would never have married at all but that's life.
Best of luck to both of you and best wishes for another 42.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes.We are a very lucky couple indeed to have found each other, I was only just turned 17, John was 19 when we married.
I won't pretend it's all been a bed of roses because it hasn't, we've had some dingdongs and hard times but I'm happy to say we worked together and got through our trials, the good far outweighed the bad.
