What does “OPEN CARRY” mean anyway?

Is this a good example?



One can strap on a canon to do the shopping. Just hope no one drops a bottle of Coca Cola on the floor to shake your nerves!

That is a terrible report, shooting young black kids because they have toy guns but allowing white people to openly Carry any arms they want.

That is an example of OPEN CARRY ,But most wear their's in a holster on their waist,kinda hard to miss those STREET SWEEPERS, Love it.

There's word that they're thinking about implementing the `open carry` laws in Texas too.

I'm assuming the reasoning behind this is if everyone is carrying a gun where it can be see there will be a reluctance to shoot someone knowing they can shoot back. The ultimate deterrent? It would be interesting to find out if Ohio's gun related incidents have been reduced as a result of the open carry policy but I can't be bothered looking for myself. Can any of our US friends elucidate us?

Not really but

Yesterday in the City of Lancaster they had a demonstration

One side was for banning all immigrants to America and a Counter one by Immigrants who lived there.

One IRAQI immigrant shout at one of the other lot who then went to his car and reappeared along with his walking stick like this.
