Well yes, but to be perfectly fair .... he was standing in very close proximity to an American flag. Just so there'd be no doubt as to which side he was on if a blood-bath were to ensue.
I have seen that flag as a bumper sticker many times on my visits to the USA, and have to say I agree totally with .
Pity we don"t have one .TBF

The Stand your ground law is only in a couple of States.

Florida being one of them.

This Law enabled Zimmerman to be found not guilty for shooting dead an unarmed 17 black boy called Trayvon Martin
