I have a number of friends who are para-medics, ambulance drivers.

They have informed me that if a person is found alone, in a position where the patient is unable to communicate they will search the person for indication to medication ETC.

They will also look into your mobile phone contact list.

It is now recognised that if you put your chosen persons contact number in your phone and list it as;

1 (one) C E

This will be the first number in your directory, reason for the number one.

1CE = In case of Emergency.

This will only take a few minutes to set up but may save a life.

I carry a card in my wallet with details of my next of kin - and who to contact in an emergency

I also keep a card in my purse and bag giving details in case of emergency.

Interesting that it is now 1ce - think it used to be just ICE. Makes more sense to have the 1 to get it at the start of the listing.

Hubbie and I have had "ICE "on our phones for about two years now...
A great idea imo...
