In the past a nice epidemic took care of that, or a good old war did the trick. Perhaps now we do it ourselves? Aids was apparently man-made and ebola too.
If enough people chose to go in relationships that render no offspring, that may help.

Neither AIDS or ebola were man made. Improved transport and open borders caused them to spread to the civilised world.

Hi

HIV has been found in samples nearly 100 years old, well before science had the capability to manufacture or alter viruses.

It is therefore not man made.

Ebola is much newer, so it is possible that it could have been man made.

The Soviet Union weaponised it in the mid 1980s.

There is no proof that ebola was man made however.

There have been a number of far more effective biological produced than either AIDS/HIV or Ebola.

If you put people into an area that has very little water it can only only support a limited number of people ?

The rest generally starve .

Africa is not one uniform country. It is a continent comprising over 50 countries. Some, like Libya are arid. But they get water. I don't remember if it is from Artesian wells but the oil plant I worked in but there was no shortage of it. For sure they didn't cultivate food so it was imported - and if you have oil.......

I also spent months in South Africa. Deluges were fairly common.

One of the issues with sub Saharan Africa is the birth rate. Niger, for example, 7.1 births per woman. Others are not far behind. More than they can feed.

Early childhood deaths are also high Besoeker, and desease
in adults is high also! But l agree with you in general!
Central Africa has very high rainfall so water is not really
an issue there! Only clean water is a problem!

I am sure that the high birthrate in undeveloped countries is not the result of an intentional child manufacturing, therefore provide free and easy access to contraceptives. When life is hell, sex is a brief escape.
Also google "Rat Utopia".
