Re: Female armed forces changes.
I'm unsure about this. I want women to have equality obviously but we are physically different and will the men not feel they have to look out for the women more than other men ? I may be very wrong but rape is often used in wars as a weapon now too and a woman would be more vulnerable IMORe: Female armed forces changes.
My one single issue with any slip in standards is this - You need a certain amount of equipment to do a job and the job needs to be done at a certain time so any member of the team who slows the team down or can't carry an adequate load puts a burden on the team and compromises the safety of those on their team, the others around them and those they are supporting. It makes no difference whether you're a man or woman, if you can't do the same as the rest of your team you're a liability and liability cost lives in the combat end of the military.Re: Female armed forces changes.
I don't see a problem with encouraging women to join the elite forces or any position in the armed forces, as long as they are competent and as able to do the job as well as men in the same role.Re: Female armed forces changes.
