I have been looking forward to this adaptation by Andrew Davis ( he of Vanity Fair, Pride and Prejudice, Middlemarch, and War & Peace) his work is always watchable and usually 'earthy'.Re: Les Miserables.
Shall have to keep an eye out for this. It will be interesting to see if it follows the book especially things like the details about Thenardier's children, how Marius' father (grandfather?) knows Thenardier, how Fantine got pregnant etc etc (sorry if my spelling is wrong)Re: Les Miserables.
I have to admit to giving it a miss so far but I will try to catch it on catch up, once I get a day off from work so I can watch without interruption ( it wouldn't be Mr Missys cup of tea)
